We hate Terms and Conditions for two reasons; one, nobody ever reads them anyway, and two, they're a pain in the a$$ to write! However in the unlikely event of any legal proceedings, here are our official Terms and Conditions.
1. Domain Names
1.1. The name of the domain name must be decided upon by the client. The client must ensure that their domain is available at the time of registration. This is possible by verifying your domain name at GoDaddy
1.2. Domain names ending in .com .org .net .info are allowed to be submitted to be registered.
1.3. Domain names are registered for the period of one year by network87 on behalf of the client as part of our service
1.4 Upon renewal of the domain names which are purchased on behalf of the client, it will be at the discretion of network87 as to whether the domain name is renewed. Factors taken into consideration when renewing domain names are; whether the client still has an interest in the website, whether there are many visitors to the website, and whether it is profitable through advertising revenue. Sufficient notice will be given to the client via email to inform them whether the domain is to be renewed or left to expire.
1.5. If the domain is renewed, network87 will pay for the renewal cost and no monies from the client will be sought. This is our way of rewarding clients for keeping their website updated with fresh content.
1.6. Domain names which are registered by network87 shall remain property of network87 unless the domain expires or the client purchases the domain outright for a price to be negotiated when this time occurs. network87 will always act in good faith on behalf of the client when dealing with domain name issues.
2. Hosting
2.1. No guarantee is made on the uptime and availability of the clients' website. This is outside the control of network87.
2.2. There will be no specific monies sought from the client for hosting costs for the website. This includes the time when the domain is renewed.
3. Email
3.1. No guarantee is made on the availability and reliability of the email address which the client is provided with, as this is also outside the control of network87.
3.2. The sending of unsolicited email (spam) via the email address provided will result in termination from network87 with all monies earned to date forfeited. Unsolicited email can be defined as sending email which the receiver will regard as useless, uninformative, and not requested.
4. Earning Money
4.1. Once registered, the client is eligible to earn money through network87. The minimum amount which will be paid to the client is $50.
4.2. Currently we only payout money to clients with PayPal or MoneyBookers accounts. We think that this is acceptable as today's standard of online payment. If the client does not have one of these aforementioned accounts, the money the client earns will simply keeps growing until the client signs up and is able to be paid.
4.3. All payments are deposited on the 28th of each month. If the client has $50 or more in their account on the day of the 27th, the client will be paid the next day.
4.4. The minimum payout amount is $50 by default unless the client specifically emails us (hello[at]network87[dot]com) informing network87 of the minimum payout amount they wish to change too. This can only be greater than $50.
4.5. The money received through advertising revenue on the clients' website is shared equally between the client and network87. The amount earned to date will be sent to the client each Sunday of the week.
4.6. In addition to 4.5. In the month of the client's birthday, the client receives all (100%) of the revenue which their website makes through advertising.
4.7. Clients can also choose to sell products online with the "eCommerce Bolt-On". For a client to receive order and payments from their customers, the only payment processor which can be used is PayPal.
4.8. Clients selling products online will receive an email notifying them that an order has been placed and that they have received payment from their customer. It is the sole responsibility of the client to fulfill any orders purchased through their website and network87 cannot be held responsible for any dealings with these orders.
5. Your Website
5.1. Once network87 receives the clients order for a website, network87 will do their best to ensure the website is ready and available in three working days - Monday through Friday. There may be times due to unforeseen circumstances when this is not possible in three working days, however efforts will be made for the website to be ready as soon as physically possible.
5.2. The client owns the copyright for any material in which they publish on their site which also means that the client is accountable for the words, or products which they publish.
6. Prohibited Actions
6.1. Clicking on the adverts on your own site is strictly prohibited. This will result in immediate termination from network87 with all monies earned to date forfeited. In order to avoid this we highly recommend the client to use the Firefox web browser, with the Ad Block Plus plug-in installed. This will avoid any potential accidents the client clicking on their own adverts.
6.2. The content within the clients website must not contain any copyrighted material or pornographic material. In finding any such material the client will be terminated from network87 with all monies earned to date forfeited.
6.3. Changing the template for the clients website is prohibited as this will then result in the adverts not being shown. The client will be promptly emailed to return the site to it's original state and if the client does not comply within three working days the clients will be terminated from network87 with all monies earned to date forfeited.
7. Keeping you informed
7.1. network87 will make every effort to compile statistics and send them to the client once a week on a Sunday. This is not an automated process, and as a result slight variations in time of delivery will be found.
7.2. Statistics which will be sent to the client will include; Number of visitors to their website that week, Number of unique visitors to their website that week, Total number of visitors to date, Money earned through referrals, Money earned through advertising revenue and Total money earned to date.
